The objective of this Privacy Policy is to inform you, which personal data we process in our online and mobile offers about you, for what purpose this happens and according to which legal basis this processing is permitted.

Personal data
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; a natural person is considered as being identifiable, directly or indirectly, in particular by means of an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or one or more special characteristics expressing the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of this natural person can be identified. This includes all information about your identity such as your name, your e-mail address or postal address, your customer number and online identifiers. Information that cannot be linked to your identity (such as the number of online users), on the other hand, is not personally identifiable information.
You can use our online and mobile offers without revealing your identity and without providing any personal data. When using our online shop, the BlueHorizon portal, the apps and some services of the Miele website and the apps, however, collect your personal information.
Storage of personal data
Your data will be stored by us on specially protected servers. These are protected by technical and organisational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or dissemination of your data by unauthorised persons. Access to your data is only possible for a few authorised persons. These are responsible for the technical, commercial or editorial support of the servers.

Legal basis of data processing
Insofar as we obtain consent for the processing of your personal data, Art. 6(1) lit. (a) GDPR serves as the legal basis for data processing.
Insofar as your personal data is processed because this is necessary to fulfil a contract or in the context of a contract-like relationship with you, Art. 6(1) lit. (b) GDPR serves as the legal basis for data processing.
Insofar as we process your personal data in order to fulfil a legal obligation, Art. 6(1) lit. (c) GDPR serves as the legal basis for data processing.
As a legal basis for the data processing, Art. 6(1) lit. Destruction of data and storage duration
We always delete or block your personal data whenever the purpose of the storage is omitted. The legal basis for the processing of this data is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We process this data so that the content, for example the website, can be displayed on your device. In addition, we use the data for the operation of the online and mobile services and to detect and eliminate errors, to determine the utilisation of the online and mobile services and to make adjustments or improvements.
At the same time, these purposes justify the legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The IP address of your device will be stored only for the time of use of the online or mobile offer and then deleted or shortened. The data is stored for a limited period of time.
Use of cookies
We use cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your computer and that store certain settings and data for sharing with us online about your browser. A cookie usually contains the name of the domain from which the cookie file was sent, as well as information about the age of the cookie and an alphanumeric identifier. Retargeting and Remarketing
Retargeting or remarketing refers to technologies in which users who have previously visited a certain website are shown appropriate advertising even after leaving this website. For this purpose, it is necessary to recognise Internet users beyond their own website, for which purpose cookies of the corresponding service providers are used. In addition, the previous usage behaviour is considered. For example, if a user views certain products, they may later display these or similar products as advertisements on other websites. It is personalised advertising that is adapted to the needs of each user. It is not necessary for this personalised advertisement to be identified beyond the recognition of the user. The data used for the retargeting or remarketing will therefore not be merged with other data.

For the order processing we work together with different companies, which are responsible for payment processing and logistics. This means that we pass on your address data (name and address) to the respective transport company, which then delivers the ordered products to you.

Additional processing of data using the apps offered by Miele

To be able to use the Miele@mobile app comprehensively, certain system permissions are required. At the beginning of the use of the app and/or only when using the respective function, you will be requested to grant the corresponding authorisations. Please note, however, that proper use of the app requires access to certain features of your mobile device (smartphone or tablet) and access to your personal information.
The Miele@mobile app is available in so-called app stores (Google Play Store and Apple App Store) operated by third parties. The download of the app usually requires prior registration at the respective app store. We have no influence on the personal data collected, processed and used in this context. The responsible body is in this context solely the operator of the respective App Store.
The legal basis for the processing of the data is the consent required by Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Insofar as the processing of the data is required to fulfil the services offered by the respective app, the legal basis for this is additionally Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Furthermore, device usage data will be evaluated anonymously so that our products and the app can be continuously optimised. Additional processing of data when using BlueHorizon
As part of the fulfilment of the lease, we process the following personal data via the Blue Horizon Portal:
- Name
- Address
- E-mail address
- IP address
- Customer number
- Serial number of the device(s)
- Functional characteristics of the devices
- Device usage data
The data is processed for the purpose of fulfilling the "BlueHorizon" rental agreement. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. We combine the user master data known by you (first and last name, address, e-mail) with the present device master data (e.g. serial number of the device) in order to allocate the device usage to your account within the framework of the rental agreement. We particularly need the device usage data (e.g. basic settings, program selection, program setting, program usage) to calculate the rent and the time of the next laundry delivery.
Furthermore, the usage data from the interaction with the BlueHorizon portal is tracked and device usage data is evaluated so that the BlueHorizon portal and product can be optimised on an ongoing basis. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, whereby the optimisation of the service justifies our legitimate interest.
The data is stored with us only as long as is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract and for the purpose.
Additional processing of data when using our offer at Alexa Skills
The following data is required to use Miele Skills:
- Registration data
- Miele customer number
- Serial number of the device(s)
- Functional characteristics of the devices
- Personally identifiable features for telecommunications
- Device status of the Miele home appliance
Miele also uses services provided by Amazon Europe Core S.à.rl, resident at 5, Rue Plaetis, L-2338 Luxembourg, to collect anonymous user metrics and server logs to detect errors and improve user experience. These are the number of functions used and the frequency of use, as well as error messages. This data is evaluated anonymously by Miele. The Miele Skill is available at the Amazon Alexa Skill Store, which is powered by Amazon. Activation of the skill and general use of Amazon Alexa usually requires prior registration with Amazon. - To ensure the interaction of the Miele device with the Alexa device
- To offer you the appropriate service within Alexa Miele Skills
The data is stored by us only as long as it is necessary for the fulfilment of the respective purpose.
Application portal
You can apply to work for us through the applicant portal and you can submit all necessary information and documents there. You can use the online form and send us your application documents. The use of the applicant portal is voluntary; you can also send us your application in other ways, for example by e-mail or by post.
Upon receipt of an application via the applicant portal, your documents will be forwarded to the responsible employees electronically. Insofar as you have applied for an advertised position, the documents will be automatically deleted six months after completion of the recruitment procedure, provided deletion does not conflict with any other legitimate interests. Such legitimate interests in this sense are, for example, proof requirements in a procedure under the General Equal Treatment Act (GETA). Newsletter
When registering for our newsletter, your e-mail address will be used for your own advertising purposes until you unsubscribe. 3. Analüüsiküpsised
Lisaks kasutame me oma veebilehel küpsiseid, mis võimaldavad analüüsida Teie kasutajakäitumist (niinimetatud analüüsiküpsised). Nende küpsiste abil kogume ja säilitame me järgmisi andmeid:

Meie veebisaidil kasutatakse nõudluspõhise kujundamise ja veebisaidi täiustamise huvides teenust Google Analytics. 4. Turundusküpsised
Taasturundamise otstarbel ja veebireklaamide näitamiseks kasutame kolmandate isikute nn turundusküpsiseid.
Taasturundamine tähendab tehnoloogiaid, mille puhul kasutajale, kes on külastanud teatud veebilehte, kuvatakse ka pärast sellelt veebilehelt lahkumist veel sobivat reklaami. Selle jaoks tuleb veebikasutajad väljaspool oma veebilehte uuesti ära tunda, milleks kasutatakse vastavate teenusepakkujate küpsiseid. Peale selle võetakse arvesse senist kasutuskäitumist. Kui kasutaja vaatab näiteks teatud tooteid, saab neid või sarnaseid tooteid talle teistel veebilehtedel reklaamina kuvada. Tegu on isikustatud reklaamiga, mis on kohandatud üksiku kasutaja vajadustele. Selle isikustatud reklaami jaoks ei ole vaja, kasutajat lisaks äratundmisele tuvastada. Seepärast ei seosta me ka taasturundamise jaoks kasutatavaid andmeid muude andmetega.
Kasutame selliseid tehnoloogiaid veebireklaamide näitamiseks. Reklaamide näitamiseks kasutame kolmandate isikute teenuseid.
Õiguslik alus andmete töötlemiseks on isikuandmete kaitse üldmääruse artikli 6 lõike 1 punkt a (nõusolek).
Kasutame järgmisi turundusküpsiseid.
4.1 Google
Nagu eespool juba kirjeldatud, kasutame oma veebisaidil analüüsi- ja / või turunduseesmärkidel mitmesuguseid küpsiseid, mida pakub ja / või kasutab Google. Lisateavet Google'i eraelu puutumatuse tavade kohta leiate lingilt https://www.google.com/privacy/ads/. Täpsemate üksikasjade tabel sisaldab küpsiste nimesid erinevate tunnustega, kus <wpid> on veebiatribuudi ID või Google Analytics 4 puhul 10 tärgist (numbrid ja tähed) koosnev loenduse ID, [_<customname>] ja <property-id> on Google Analytics 3 (Universal Analytics) atribuudi IDd, mis koosnevad järgmises järjestuses numbritest: UA-XXXXXXXX-X.
4.1.1 Google Ads
Google Ads on Google'i arendatav interneti-reklaamiplatvorm, kus reklaamijad maksavad lühireklaamide, teenusepakkumiste, kaubaloetellu lisamise, videosisu esitamise eest ning loovad Google'i reklaamivõrgus veebikasutajatele mobiilirakenduse installe. See võib reklaami paigutada nii otsimootorite, näiteks Google Searchi tulemustesse kui ka otsingusse mittekuulunud veebisaitidele, mobiilirakendustesse ja videotele.

4.1.2 Google taasturundusfunktsioon
Google'i taasturundusfunktsioon võimaldab meil esitada oma kasutajatele nende huvidel põhinevaid reklaame meie muudel veebisaitidel, mis kuuluvad võrgustikku Google Ads (niinimetatud Google'i reklaamid või reklaamid muudel veebisaitidel). Selleks analüüsime kasutajate toiminguid meie veebisaidil, et meil oleks võimalik kuvada kasutajatele sihitud reklaame muudel saitidel ka pärast meie veebisaidi külastamist. Selleks salvestab Google numbri nende kasutajate veebisirvijatesse, kes Google'i teatud teenuseid või Google Display Networki veebisaite külastavad. Seda numbrit, mida nimetatakse ka küpsiseks, kasutatakse nende kasutajate külastuste jälgimiseks. Seda numbrit kasutatakse konkreetse arvuti veebisirvija üheseks tuvastamiseks, mitte inimese tuvastamiseks, ja isikuandmeid ei salvestata.

4.1.3 Konversiooni jälgimine Google'is
Samuti kasutame järgmisel viisil Google'i konversiooni jälgimist. Kui klõpsate Google'i esitatud reklaami, paigutatakse teie seadmesse 30-päevane konversiooni jälgimise küpsis. Seda küpsist ei kasutata isiku tuvastamiseks. Konversiooniküpsisega kogutavat teavet kasutatakse konversioonistatistika loomiseks Google Adsi klientidele.

4.1.4 Muud Google Marketing Platformi teenused (Campaign Manager 360, Display & Video 360, Google Ads, Search Ads 360)
Meie veebisaidil kasutatakse muid Google'i turundusplatvormi teenuseid (endine Google doubleclick). Campaign Manager 360 võimaldab meil teha reklaamikampaaniaid ja mõõta nende tulemuslikkust. Display & Video 360 aitab meil hallata kuvamis- ja videokampaaniaid. Search Ads 360 abil hallatakse otsikampaaniaid eri otsimootorite vahel. Nendes teenustes kasutatakse küpsiseid selleks, et esitada kasutajatele asjakohaseid reklaame, täiustada kampaania tulemuslikkuse aruandeid või ennetada reklaamide mitmekordset kuvamist kasutajatele.
Google kasutab küpsise IDd, et selgitada välja, milliseid reklaame millises veebisirvijas esitatakse, ja seega ennetab nende mitmekordset esitamist. Lisaks saab Google kasutada küpsise IDd, et jälgida konversiooni ehk seda, kas kasutaja läheb pärast reklaami nägemist hiljem reklaamija veebisaidile ja teeb seal ostu. Need küpsised ei sisalda isikuandmeid.
Teie veebisirvija loob automaatselt otseühenduse Google'i serveriga. Google'i sõnul saab Google nende teenuste integreerimisel teavet, millele te olete meie veebisaidi vastavas osas või meiepoolset reklaami klõpsates juurde pääsenud. Kui olete Google'i teenuses registreerunud, saab Google siduda külastuse teie kasutajakontoga. Isegi kui te ei ole Google'is registreerunud või ei ole sisse loginud, on võimalik, et teenuseosutaja leiab teie IP-aadressi ja salvestab selle.
Lisaks võimaldavad Google'i küpsised meil mõista, kas teete teatavaid toiminguid meie veebisaidil pärast seda, kui olete vaadanud või klõpsanud mõnda meie reklaami Google'i või muul platvormil (konversiooni jälgimine) (floodlight). Google saab selle küpsise abil teada, millist sisu olete meie veebisaitidel vaadanud, nii et hiljem saame teile saata sihitud reklaame.
Saate jälgimisprotsessi vältida, kui muudate oma veebisirvija tarkvara sätteid (nt kolmandate isikute küpsiste keelamine), inaktiveerite konversiooni jälgimise küpsised, blokeerides oma veebisirvija sätetes domeeni http://www.google.com/settings/ads/ küpsised, ning isereguleerimiskampaanias About Ads osalevate teenuseosutajate huvipõhiste küpsiste puhul linki http://www.aboutads.info/choices või linki www.googleadservices.com klõpsates.
